When I was a senior in high school I gave birth to my son. I obviously didn’t have a lot of money and couldn't afford to hire a photographer to come take photos of my little guy so I was bound and determined to learn.
My sons father (spoiler alert…I get to call him hubby now) saved up to buy me my first camera from Sams Club. I was thrilled and so excited. I just wanted pictures of my baby boy and id be damned if I didn’t learn.
Fast forward to a year later, I’m working as a server at a local restaurant to make ends meet while also juggling going to cosmetology school full time and being a new mama. Life was so exhausting at this time and I just remember wanting to find something that I loved that could make me money and allow my schedule to be flexible so I can raise my child.
I read, googled, YouTubed and practiced my ass off and I learned how to use my camera.
